California Mexican Food: Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Bellevue, WA

I have come here a few times for a late night Mexican food craving, and everytime the food was yummy and the service was nice. The chicken seemed to not be the greasy kind which I like and they have a nice salsa bar. oh and I have tried the chicken jumbo deluxe burrito, chicken enchilada plate, and soft taco. The chicken burrito was a pretty good size~ and it seems like a safe area to be late at night. So I personally like eating here, nothing bad to say!

I only have 1 thing to say about this place.. the taste is very california. Biting into the asada burrito gave me an air of mexican food in cali.

Portions are large but the quality is not good. It’s better to have less meat but better quality so it is edible. I only go there when everything else.

We usually go through the drive thru and we love their burritos and shrimp tacos but today we ate in for breakfast and I LOVED their salsa bar so many choices!!! I also absolutely love their chips. They tasted like someone just freshly made them. Their burritos are delicious and the portions are huge. One of my favorite places when I want Mexican food.

Finally someone on the Eastside nailed it! I'm only really reviewing the California Burrito, but that's really all I will ever get. It's excellent, huge, and cheap. A nearly perfect recreation of a SoCal favorite. The salsa bar is also perfect, don't miss the marinated carrots and radishes. And open 24/7!

Best Salsa Bar I've ever seen. Chirizo Breakfast Burro was so good. Wish there were more of these restaurants around.

The Good Stuff: The portions are massive! You definitely get your money's worth. The Carne Asada Fries are a standout item—loaded with a ton of meat and a good amount of cheese and guac. The Breakfast Burritos are also top-tier and available 24/7, which is incredibly convenient. The salsa bar is a major plus, with several good options to add flavor to your meal. The Trade-offs: The main reason it's not a 5-star review is the service speed. It can take a little while to get your food, especially if you hit the drive-thru during a rush (sometimes 15-20 minutes). It's not a super fast experience every time. The atmosphere is very basic, a converted fast-food building, so don't go there for the 'vibe'. Verdict: If you're looking for a big, tasty, and inexpensive meal, I highly recommend it. Just be prepared that you might have to wait a little bit for that massive burrito!"

The craving for a California burrito led me to a spot that used to be a Burger King. While a Whopper used to be the main event here, this place is a huge upgrade. I ordered the California burrito with added guacamole, and it did not disappoint. But the real star of the show was the salsa bar. It was fully stocked with mild, spicy, and "very spicy" options. The burrito was great, but the salsas were absolutely fire. I'd go back just for them! Just a warning: some of those salsas are legitimately spicy, so tread lightly.
